Conception of didactic supports

Since 2004, the epidemiology unit works, in collaboration with the CIRAD formation unit, to the development, production and valorisation of computer assisted training tools and distance learning tools on epidemiology. The importance of distance learning is increasing within CIRAD: it is a good alternative in response to a decrease in student fundings; and a practical tool to build up collaboration with tropical training institutes. This kind of tools allow us to answer efficiently to the increasing training demands from international institutions (OIE, FAO, AIEA…) in terms of information and formation plateforms on animal disease epidemiology.
